Relief Deputy Unit Manager Opportunity
Eccles Fold Day Centre provides 7 days a week, 365 days a year support to older adults with a wide range of needs, including dementia, learning disabilities, mental health needs, physical disabilities and social isolation.

- Transport to and from the centre (where required)
- Respite support for families and carers
About the Role
As a Relief Deputy Unit Manager you will support the Unit Manager and play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the centre.
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing the daily running of the centre during your shift
- Handling incoming phone calls
- Supporting staff rota and covering absences
- Liaising with families, carers and professionals (GPs, social workers, etc.)
- Recording and updating information on computer systems
- Completing risk assessments and care plans
- Reporting maintenance issues within the building
- Carrying out Health & Safety checks (e.g. fire alarms, legionella monitoring)
