We’re recruiting Field Engineers to support a major Scottish utilities telecommunications programme.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a long-term project delivering installation, commissioning and maintenance across Scotland’s critical telecoms infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Installation and commissioning of telecoms equipment
• Network assurance and maintenance
• Troubleshooting IP and telecoms infrastructure
• Routing, switching and data networking
• LAN, WAN and MPLS support
• Support 24/7 first-line assurance activities
• Complete project documentation and site surveys

Required Skills

• SDH / PDH
• Microwave Radio
• Commtel
• XTran
• Cisco
• Alcatel
• LAN / WAN / MPLS
• DC & AC power experience
• Telecom installation & commissioning
• Network troubleshooting

Requirements

• Full UK Driving Licence
• Able to travel across Scotland
• Immediate availability preferred

Location: Glasgow (2–3 days per week on site)

Outside IR35 | 6-month contract
