Senior Social Account Manager
Location: London (Hybrid)
Contract: 2 Months (ASAP start)
Day Rate: Up to £300 (Outside IR35)
The Opportunity
We’re partnering with a leading social-first agency in London to appoint an experienced Senior Social Account Manager on an initial 2-month contract.
This is a hands-on role working across key client accounts, driving social strategy, overseeing campaign delivery, and ensuring best-in-class execution across platforms. You’ll play a pivotal role in maintaining client relationships while delivering high-impact, culturally relevant social campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Own day-to-day management of key social media client accounts
- Act as the primary client contact, building strong, trusted relationships
- Lead campaign planning, briefing, and delivery across organic and paid social
- Collaborate closely with creative, strategy, and production teams
- Ensure content is platform-native, culturally relevant, and performance-driven
- Oversee reporting, insights, and optimisation recommendations
- Manage timelines, budgets, and internal workflows effectively
- Provide strategic input to elevate social-first thinking across campaigns
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Social Account Manager or Senior Account Manager within a social-first or integrated agency
- Strong understanding of key platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Meta, etc.)
- Demonstrated experience delivering social campaigns end-to-end
- Confident managing senior stakeholders and presenting to clients
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at pace
- Commercial awareness and ability to keep projects on track and within scope
- Experience working in fast-paced, creatively driven environments
Nice to Have
- Experience with influencer-led campaigns and creator partnerships
- Exposure to paid social strategy and performance reporting
- Experience across lifestyle, retail, or consumer brands
