We are partnering with a global electronic components distributor that helps customers source the parts they need and solve supply chain challenges. The business is fast-paced and relationship-led, giving salespeople the freedom to grow customer accounts, find new opportunities, and build long-term partnerships across the UK electronics market.
The Role
The role is focused on managing and growing customer relationships across the electronic components market. You will work with OEMs, EMS providers, CEMs, and manufacturing customers to identify new opportunities, grow revenue, and support customers with their component sourcing and supply chain needs.
This is a commercial sales role rather than a technical or product management position. It would suit someone who is confident building relationships, developing business, and working independently.
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow customer relationships across the UK electronics market
- Develop new business opportunities with OEM, EMS, CEM, and manufacturing customers
- Use your existing customer network to identify and create revenue opportunities
- Support customers with electronic component sourcing, hard-to-find parts, shortage situations, obsolescence, excess inventory, and wider supply chain challenges
- Operate with a high degree of autonomy, effectively managing your own territory
- Build long-term relationships with customers and act as a trusted commercial partner
- Work closely with internal teams to deliver the right sourcing and supply solutions
- Represent the business professionally in customer meetings across the UK
- Travel for customer meetings when required
What We’re Looking For
- Experience selling electronic components within a distribution environment
- Background in independent distribution, brokerage, franchise distribution, or a similar electronics supply chain business
- Strong commercial relationships with UK OEM, EMS, CEM, or manufacturing customers
- Proven ability to manage accounts, develop new business, and grow revenue
- Comfortable operating in a remote, autonomous sales role
- Strong understanding of the UK electronic components market
- Open to working in a brokerage-led and independent distribution environment
- Commercially driven, relationship-led, and confident creating opportunities
- Energetic, sociable, self-sufficient, and team-oriented
- Willingness to travel across the UK for customer meetings
