Cable Technician
G2 Recruitment are working alongside our client to hire an experienced Cable Technician for onshore wind projects in the UK
Contract length: 4-month initial contract
Rotations: 6:2 preferred, other patterns can be discussed
Working Pattern (Flexible Hours/Remote): Site work in Scotland
Job Details:
In this role, you will work with our client in the renewable energy industry to support the installation of electrical cabling systems on onshore wind farm projects across the UK.
Requirements:
- Proven experience working as a Cable Technician with renewable energy or wind farm projects, particularly for Vestas turbines
- Knowledge of cable systems at LV, MV and HV
- Ideally certification in jointing and experience of cable termination
- Ideally experience in construction supervision and O&M tasks
- Professional English is required for this role
