Job Summary:
The UK Production Controls Services team is responsible for the concept development, design, delivery, sustainment, and field support of offshore production control systems across a wide range of existing assets. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers on real projects that directly support critical energy infrastructure.
Working in a fast-paced and technically diverse environment, you will gain valuable hands-on experience, develop practical engineering skills, and contribute to solving complex real-world challenges. This placement provides an excellent opportunity to complement your academic studies, broaden your technical knowledge, and gain insight into the lifecycle of industry-leading control systems.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Working alongside experienced Engineers
- Design and configuration of systems
- Creating Engineering documents such as test procedures
- Exposure to workshop and field support
Essential Requirements:
- Recent graduate in Electrical or Software Engineering, or in the process of obtaining a degree and looking for an industrial placement.
Preferred Skills and Competencies:
- Strong technical awareness
- Control systems orientation
- Familiarity with electrical drawings
- Team oriented
- Good problem-solving/troubleshooting skills
