Job Description:

At Elmya, a company in the renewable energy and electrical installations sector, we are looking for a Civil Quality Technician for one of our projects.

The Civil Quality Technician plays a key role in supervising and controlling quality standards in civil engineering projects. Their main responsibility is to ensure that processes and deliverables meet the required specifications and standards, with the goal of achieving safe and high-quality results.

Main responsibilities:

· Supervise the implementation of quality procedures and standards in civil engineering projects

· Read and interpret technical drawings

· Carry out regular inspections and audits during construction and execution phases to ensure compliance with technical specifications and standards

· Attend and oversee testing activities in accordance with the project testing plan

· Verify and control the quality of construction materials, as well as products and services provided by external suppliers

· Collaborate with design and construction teams to resolve any quality-related deviations or issues

· Document and report inspection and audit findings, including required corrective actions

· Propose improvements to quality procedures and practices to optimize results and reduce risks

· Stay up to date with applicable regulations and technical requirements

· Manage subcontractors

Requirements:

· Technical education in Civil Engineering or related fields preferred

· At least 2 years of previous experience in quality roles, preferably in civil engineering projects

· Experience and/or knowledge in the construction and commissioning of power generation plants, preferably photovoltaic

· Knowledge of quality standards and regulations applicable to civil engineering is a plus

· Ability to perform detailed inspections and data analysis

· Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team

· Attention to detail and ability to make decisions based on technical criteria

· Knowledge of tools used in the construction industry (quality control measurement equipment)
