An established global supply chain and distribution organisation is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead site quality operations and drive continuous improvement across a fast-paced warehousing and distribution environment.
Reporting into senior leadership, you will take ownership of the Quality function, ensuring the highest standards of operational excellence, customer satisfaction, compliance, and team performance.
This is a highly visible leadership role for someone who thrives on improving standards, influencing stakeholders, solving operational challenges, and embedding a culture of quality throughout the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day operation of the site Quality function.
- Drive compliance with ISO 9001 and support ISO14001:2015 and any other standard, as required. Along with wider integrated management systems.
- Manage internal and external audits, ensuring continued accreditation and operational excellence.
- Partner with operational leadership teams to identify trends, drive corrective actions and improve performance.
- Lead root cause investigations and implement robust preventative measures.
- Act as the key escalation point for customer quality issues.
- Develop, coach and motivate a quality team to deliver best-in-class performance.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across warehouse and supply chain operations.
- Monitor quality costs, supplier performance and operational KPIs.
- Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure service excellence.
What We’re Looking For
We are keen to speak with quality professionals who can demonstrate:
- Significant experience in a Quality Management or Quality Leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and integrated management systems.
- Experience operating within warehousing, logistics, manufacturing, industrial or distribution environments.
- Proven ability to lead teams and influence operational stakeholders.
- Strong audit, compliance, root cause analysis and continuous improvement experience.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work effectively in a fast-moving environment.
Highly Desirable
- Lead Auditor qualification.
- Experience working with customer-facing quality functions.
- Demonstrable success in improving quality culture, operational performance and service standards.
