Summary
OXBO are working with an established Solar IPP in London who are seeking a commercially minded Business Development Manager / Originator to help drive the next phase of growth across a high-growth Solar PV and infrastructure platform.
This is a pure origination role – focused on identifying, shaping, and securing new opportunities across Solar PV solutions for primarily data centre clients.
The current pipeline includes multiple near-term transactions alongside a significant long-term land bank and an emerging international expansion strategy.
Responsibilities
- You’ll be responsible for feeding a strong and active solar development pipeline.
- You’ll be networking daily, engaging at C-suite level, and stress-testing opportunities to ensure only high-quality, viable projects progress.
- You’ll manage sales processes through to Heads of Terms and/or PPA agreement phases
Requirements
- We’re seeking someone with 5–10 years’ sales experience in the cleantech space
- Experience in selling solar PV solutions, microgrids, behind the meter, private wire, onsite energy solutions preferred
- This requires a hands-on, fast-moving mindset and the ability to create and convert opportunities, not just manage them.
- You’ll need to be confident leading senior stakeholder conversations, commercially sharp, and comfortable operating in early-stage, often complex deal environments.
Hybrid working (London-based, 2–3 days in office).
