Boden Group are working with a leading FM provider to recruit an experienced Facilities Manager for a high-profile university contract in London.
This is a key operational leadership role, responsible for overseeing the delivery of hard and soft FM services across a large, complex estate. You will manage performance through a small team of direct reports, with overall responsibility for a wider workforce.
The client is looking for a well-rounded FM professional with true IFM or TFM experience. This does not need to be an engineering-led candidate, but you must be confident around hard services, compliance, contractors, KPIs, SLAs, risk and service delivery.
The role will include:
- Leading day-to-day IFM service delivery across a busy campus environment
- Managing hard and soft FM performance through established management teams
- Building strong relationships with the client, stakeholders and supply chain
- Driving compliance, service standards, reporting and continuous improvement
- Supporting financial performance, KPIs, SLAs and contract retention
We are looking for someone with:
- Experience managing both hard and soft FM within an IFM or TFM environment
- Strong operational leadership and people management experience
- Confidence managing teams through direct reports
- Good commercial awareness and an understanding of compliance and risk
- A collaborative, visible and accountable leadership style
