Architectural Technical Designer

Location: West London (Office-Based)

Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 + Benefits

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a small, ambitious, and growing design studio based in West London. This is the perfect role for an Architectural Technical Designer who enjoys working in a close-knit team, taking ownership of projects, and contributing to the growth of a business with an excellent reputation.

Working across a range of high-quality interior architecture and workplace projects, you’ll play a key role in developing technical packages from concept through to construction, collaborating closely with designers, project managers, and clients.

The Role

As an Architectural Technical Designer, you will:

  • Produce detailed technical drawing packages using Revit.
  • Develop construction details and technical documentation.
  • Coordinate design information with consultants and contractors.
  • Assist in ensuring projects comply with UK Building Regulations and industry standards.
  • Support projects through RIBA stages from design development to completion.
  • Attend project meetings and assist with site coordination when required.
  • Work closely with the design team to deliver high-quality, buildable solutions.

About You

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • 2–5 years’ experience in an Architectural Technical Designer or Architectural Technician role.
  • Strong proficiency in Revit (essential).
  • Experience delivering interior architecture or commercial interiors projects.
  • A good understanding of UK construction methods and detailing.
  • Excellent technical drawing and coordination skills.
  • Strong communication and organisational abilities.
  • A proactive attitude and desire to work within a growing business.

Desirable

  • Experience working within workplace, commercial, hospitality or high-end interior projects.
  • Architectural experience alongside interiors would be a distinct advantage.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD and Adobe Suite.
  • Experience coordinating with M&E and structural consultants.
