Interim Head of Compensation
Rate: Up to £800 per day (Inside IR35)
Location: London (2 days per week on site)

Overview
We are working with a large UK business on an urgent search for an experienced interim Head of Compensation. This is a senior leadership role within a complex matrix organisation requiring someone who can hit the ground running from day one.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the compensation team across a fast moving and ambitious business
- Accountable for the full compensation strategy and framework including executive remuneration
- Oversee all cyclical pay processes including annual pay review, bonus, job evaluations and benchmarking
- Support senior reward leadership with executive pay proposals and RemCo papers
- Manage LTIP design and delivery alongside executive bonus schemes
- Lead on compensation governance, policy and compliance including gender pay reporting
- Work closely with business leaders and employee representatives on pay decisions and incentive design
- Lead large scale reward projects aligned to business transformation strategy
What We Are Looking For
- Proven experience leading compensation strategy in a large, complex and matrixed organisation
- Deep understanding of fixed and variable executive remuneration including bonus and LTIP
- Experience preparing RemCo papers and influencing at a senior level
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing high performing teams
