Role Overview

Join our dynamic team at Healsgood as a Band 7 Sonographer – General Radiographer. This role offers a unique opportunity to work within a supportive and innovative clinical environment, delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services. As a key member of our radiography team, you will play a crucial role in patient care, utilising advanced sonography techniques to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of general radiographic and sonographic procedures to the highest clinical standards.

Ensure accurate and timely reporting of imaging results, contributing to effective patient management.

Maintain and operate imaging equipment, ensuring it is in optimal working condition.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.

Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay abreast of the latest advancements in radiography.

Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • HCPC registration as a Radiographer.

Postgraduate qualification in Sonography or equivalent experience.

Proven experience in general radiography and sonography.

Completion of NHS mandatory training.

Desirable Skills

  • Advanced skills in ultrasound imaging techniques.

Experience with PACS and RIS systems.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.

Commitment to continuous professional development.

Compliance Requirements

  • Up-to-date HCPC registration.

Enhanced DBS check.

Compliance with all NHS policies and procedures.

Adherence to infection control and health and safety standards.
