The Role:

  • We’re looking for someone compassionate, skilled and people-focused to join our team as a Mental Health & Recovery Coordinator.
  • You will support individuals who have recently moved on from temporary accommodation and may be at risk of losing their tenancy due to mental health challenges.
  • You will combine one-to-one support, group work and partnership working to deliver recovery-focused support that is practical, flexible and centred on each individual.

This is a challenging but rewarding role where your support can make a real difference in helping people maintain stability and independence.

Job Purpose

  • Provide tailored, recovery-focused support to people at risk of tenancy breakdown.
  • Build strong, trusting relationships as a consistent point of contact.
  • Support individuals to manage their mental health and build confidence for independent living.
  • Work collaboratively with services to ensure support is coordinated and effective.

What You’ll NeedEssential Criteria

  • Relevant qualification (e.g. Social Work, Nursing, Psychology, Counselling, Youth Work).
  • At least 2 years’ experience supporting adults with mental health and/or complex needs.
  • Experience using approaches such as CBT, Motivational Interviewing or similar.
  • Strong relationship-building and partnership working skills.
  • Ability to manage your own caseload and work independently.
  • Full driving licence and access to transport (or suitable alternative).

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience delivering group work or workshops.
  • Experience working in community or outreach settings.
