In this role, you’ll become the trusted advisor for an established portfolio of business clients, ensuring they receive outstanding service, maximise the value of their solutions, and benefit from ongoing support as their business evolves. You’ll work collaboratively with internal teams to strengthen customer relationships while identifying opportunities to introduce additional products and services that add genuine value.
Salary & Benefits
- £30,000-£35,000 basic salary
- Uncapped commission and performance incentives

About the Company
Our client is a well-established provider of business technology and communications solutions, helping organisations improve connectivity, collaboration and operational efficiency through tailored telecommunications, mobile and IT services.
With a strong reputation for customer service and long-term partnerships, they are continuing to grow and are looking for a Client Relationship Manager to nurture existing client relationships, improve customer retention and support continued commercial growth.
The Role
As Client Relationship Manager, you’ll take ownership of an established portfolio of business customers, acting as their primary point of contact and ensuring they receive a consistently high level of service.
You’ll develop a thorough understanding of each client’s business, proactively identifying opportunities to improve their experience, resolve challenges and recommend solutions that support their future objectives.
Working closely with Sales, Customer Support and Technical teams, you’ll help deliver an exceptional customer journey while contributing to business growth through account development and client retention.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a portfolio of existing business clients.
- Build trusted, long-term relationships through regular communication and account reviews.
- Understand customers’ business objectives and recommend solutions that support their ongoing needs.
- Proactively identify opportunities to introduce additional products and services that add value.
- Coordinate contract renewals and retention activities to maximise customer loyalty.
- Resolve customer queries efficiently, working closely with internal teams to ensure excellent service delivery.
- Prepare quotations, proposals and commercial documentation where required.
- Maintain accurate customer records and pipeline activity within the CRM system.
- Monitor customer satisfaction, account performance and retention metrics.
- Work collaboratively across departments to deliver a seamless customer experience.
About You
Essential
- Previous experience in Client Relationship Management, Account Management, Customer Success or a similar customer-facing commercial role.
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
- A customer-first approach with a genuine passion for delivering exceptional service.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to recognise opportunities for account growth.
- Well organised with excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
- Confident managing multiple client relationships simultaneously.
- Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
Desirable
- Experience within telecommunications, IT services or managed technology solutions.
- Experience managing contract renewals and customer retention initiatives.
- Knowledge of B2B sales or consultative account management.
