J ewson Partnership Solutions (JPS), specialists in providing solutions and building materials for our customers in the Public Sector such as Housing Associations and Local Authorities, is on the hunt for a Business Development Partner to cover Cambridge, Norfolk, the East Midlands, Yorkshire and the North East .All applicants must have a full UK driving licenceAt JPS, we’re focused on building strong partnerships, delivering innovative solutions and driving long-term growth across the Public Sector. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven professional who enjoys developing new business, building lasting customer relationships and creating strategic partnerships that deliver value.What You’ll Be DoingIdentifying , developing and winning new business opportunities across the social housing and public sector marketsBuilding strong relationships with key decision-makers and positioning JPS as a trusted partnerDeveloping innovative, evidence-led proposals that deliver value and efficiency for customersManaging and maintaining a strong pipeline of opportunities through effective CRM managementWorking collaboratively with internal teams including Bids, Estimating, Operations and Partnerships to deliver winning customer solutionsSupporting contract mobilisation, retention and ongoing customer engagement activitiesRepresenting JPS at exhibitions, customer events and industry networking opportunitiesChampioning social value initiatives that support communities and strengthen customer partnershipsMonitoring market trends, customer insight and commercial performance to identify opportunities for growthWhat We’re Looking ForProven experience in business development, sales or strategic partnerships within a customer-facing environmentExperience within the Public Sector or social housing sector is preferredStrong commercial awareness with a track record of delivering profitable growthExcellent communication, presentation, negotiation and influencing skillsAbility to build relationships at all levels, both internally and externallyStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage pipelines, priorities and reporting effectivelyExperience working collaboratively across multiple business functionsGood understanding of public sector procurement processes and commercial agreementsConfidence using Microsoft Office packages and CRM systems such as SalesforceA proactive, results-driven approach with the resilience and energy to succeed in a fast-paced environmentWhat’s in it for youCompetitive Basic SalaryPerformance Related Bonus34 days holiday per yearRetirement Savings Plan (Pension) with Legal & GeneralLife Assurance – From your first day of employment with us you are automatically covered for a lump-sum death in service benefit of 2 x your basic salary.
