You will ideally bring:

  • Strong experience managing a pipeline of commercial opportunites
  • Confidence producing forecasts and reporting on revenue potential
  • Experience scoping and costing complex projects
  • A good understanding of bids, tenders, contracts and commercial risk
  • Experience working across multiple technical or professional disciplines
  • Strong internal stakeholder management and coordination skills
  • The ability to turn loosely defined opportunities into clear and deliverable propsoals
  • A track record of improving process, pace and conversion
  • Customer-facing confidence and strong negotiation skills
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent opportunities of different sizes and complexity.

Experience within agri-tech, food, agriculture, innovation or research-led environments would be useful but is not essential.

The strongest candidates will be commercially minded, highly organised and comfortable working across a complex matrix of technical experts, customers and internal functions.
