Job Aide (London or Nottingham) — Psychology Background Essential

About the Role
At Sankofa Exchange Ltd., we seek a highly accurate, rapid Job Aid to assist with psychology reports and deliver psychological services to clients. You must be able to produce clear, contemporaneous, and professional records of meetings, interviews, assessments, and hearings. You will combine exceptional typing proficiency with a strong background in psychology.. Experience in marketing and website maintenance would be a distinct advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in scoring tests and drafting reports.
- Responding to client enquiries by telephone and email.
- Capture verbatim and near-verbatim notes during live sessions (in person and/or via secure video).
- Produce polished transcripts and structured summaries to agreed templates and timelines.
- Handle sensitive information in accordance with confidentiality, data protection, and professional ethics.
- Manage and securely store files using agreed naming conventions and version control.
- Support basic social media management (drafting compliant updates, scheduling posts, maintaining content calendars).
- Leverage AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT and comparable platforms) to assist with document production, formatting, outline generation, contents pages, and quality-assurance checks—strictly within approved, GDPR-compliant workflows.
Essential Criteria (You must have)
- Knowledge and experience of psychology
- Experience in marketing, including social media marketing.
- Typing speed of at least 100 words per minute (tested or independently verifiable).
- O Level/GCSE English (or equivalent) with strong spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
- Based in London or Nottingham and able to attend on-site sessions.
- Undergraduate degree in Psychology (or higher).
- Own computer with reliable internet access and up-to-date productivity software (e.g., Microsoft 365 or equivalent).
- Excellent attention to detail, professional discretion, and punctuality.
Desirable Criteria
- Experience working in a human resources function
- Experience or knowledge of UK law
- Proven ability to take verbatim notes in high-stakes or technical settings.
- Experience of social media management (planning, drafting, scheduling, engagement tracking).
- Experience using ChatGPT and other AI platforms for document production (template-driven formatting, draft structuring, summarisation, style guidance, and error-checking), with evidence of safe, compliant use (e.g., redaction, secure prompts, no disclosure of personal data).
- Prior work with legal, clinical, or medico-legal professionals.
