We’re working with an established and innovative manufacturer that is looking to add a Graduate Manufacturing Engineer to its growing engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience, work alongside experienced engineers, and develop your technical and professional skills within a supportive business.
The Role
As a Graduate Manufacturing Engineer, you’ll be involved in a variety of projects aimed at improving manufacturing processes, increasing efficiency, and supporting the introduction of new products into production. This is a varied role offering exposure to production, quality, process improvement and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting manufacturing and production engineering activities across the site.
Assisting with process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
Working with production teams to resolve engineering and manufacturing issues.
Supporting new product introduction (NPI) and manufacturing readiness.
Producing and updating work instructions, process documentation and technical reports.
Assisting with root cause investigations and implementing corrective actions.
Contributing to Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement projects.
Collaborating with Quality, Production and Design Engineering teams.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is enthusiastic, eager to learn and passionate about engineering.
You’ll ideally have:
A degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Production or a related Engineering discipline.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn.
An interest in manufacturing, process improvement and continuous improvement.
Placement year or internship experience within manufacturing is advantageous but not essential.
