My client is an innovative technology company developing advanced photonics solutions. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Head of Photonics to lead technical strategy and drive the development of next-generation optical systems.

The Role:

• Lead photonics and optical system development across multiple projects
• Define technical strategy and roadmap for future technologies
• Work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams and senior leadership
• Support product development from concept through to deployment
• Build and develop photonics capability across the organisation

About You:

• Strong background in photonics, optics, or optical engineering
• Experience developing complex photonic or optical systems
• Proven technical leadership within engineering teams
• Knowledge of lasers, optical sensing, imaging, fibre optics, or related technologies
• Comfortable operating at both strategic and hands-on technical levels
