As a business administrator, you’ll become an important member of our business support team, helping to keep our busy head office running smoothly. This role is specifically designed for individuals with limited CV experience who want to take their first step into an office environment into a role where no two days are the same, giving you the opportunity to gain practical experience across multiple areas of the business.
Your training and responsibilities will include:
Administration
- Providing general office support.
- Answering telephone and email enquiries.
- Maintaining electronic and paper filing systems.
- Preparing documents, reports and spreadsheets.
- Supporting day-to-day office administration.
Human Resources
- Assisting with recruitment administration.
- Preparing new starter documentation.
- Supporting employee onboarding.
- Maintaining confidential personnel records.
Finance & Accounts
- Assisting with supplier invoices and customer invoicing.
- Supporting payroll administration.
- Updating financial records and spreadsheets.
- General finance administration.
Marketing
- Supporting recruitment advertising.
- Assisting with social media and marketing activities.
- Helping prepare promotional materials.
General Business Support
- Supporting Health & Safety administration.
- Assisting with business projects.
- Working with colleagues across multiple departments to support the wider business.
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone who is:
- A graduate or final year student
- Enthusiastic and eager to learn.
- Organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Proactive and willing to get involved.
- Reliable and able to manage a variety of tasks.
- Comfortable with basic computer use, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and e-mail
No previous office experience is required as full training will be provided.
This role is ideal for a recent graduate or someone looking to gain practical business experience before starting their long-term career. You’ll gain exposure to multiple business functions, develop transferable workplace skills and work alongside experienced colleagues who are committed to supporting your development.
