We are a well-established and growing law firm with an outstanding reputation for delivering exceptional legal services to individuals, families and businesses. Due to continued growth, we are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Associate to join our Residential Property team.
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious solicitor with at least 5 years’ post-qualification experience to take on a varied and high-quality caseload while playing a key role in the continued development of the department.
The Role
You will manage a broad range of residential property matters from instruction through to completion, providing pragmatic, commercially focused advice and delivering an exceptional client experience. As a Senior Associate, you will also support the development of junior team members and contribute to business development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a diverse caseload of residential property transactions, including:
- Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- High-value residential transactions
- Remortgages
- Transfers of equity
- New build purchases
- Shared ownership matters
- Right to Buy transactions
- Advising clients on complex residential property issues.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, estate agents, brokers, developers and other professional contacts.
- Supervising and mentoring junior solicitors, paralegals and support staff.
- Assisting with the continued growth and development of the Residential Property department.
- Participating in networking, marketing and business development activities.
- Ensuring compliance with SRA regulations, AML requirements and firm procedures.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- A minimum of 5 years’ PQE in Residential Property.
- A proven track record of managing a busy and varied conveyancing caseload independently.
- Strong technical knowledge across all aspects of residential conveyancing.
- Excellent client care and relationship management skills.
- A commercial and proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Experience supervising or mentoring junior colleagues.
- A commitment to delivering exceptional client service.

- Experience acting for high-net-worth individuals.
- Existing professional contacts and referrer relationships.
- A proven interest in business development and networking.
