Travel: Approximately 65% travel to manufacturing sites

Salary: €70,000 – €80,000

Contract: Permanent

Overview:

An established manufacturing organisation is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to support capital engineering projects across multiple production facilities. The role involves project delivery from concept through commissioning while improving manufacturing performance, safety and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate and deliver capital engineering projects.
• Lead installation and commissioning activities.
• Produce engineering designs and technical documentation.
• Support maintenance, upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage project budgets and CAPEX expenditure.
• Coordinate contractors and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Ensure compliance with engineering, environmental and health & safety standards.
• Prepare engineering reports and project updates.
• Support manufacturing sites with technical engineering expertise.

Requirements:

• HNC/HND or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Experience delivering engineering projects within manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and P&IDs.
• Experience with CAD software and commissioning activities.
• Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively across Ireland (approximately 65%).
