Job Description:
Were currently recruiting for an experienced Forklift Driver to join a leading UK furniture manufacturer based in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a growing manufacturing and distribution operation, supplying bespoke furniture to some of the UK’s most recognised hotel brands. The company operates from a modern 100,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility and continues to invest in its people and production capabilities.

The Role
As a Forklift Driver, you’ll play a key role in supporting warehouse and production operations, ensuring materials and finished products are moved safely and efficiently throughout the site.
Key Responsibilities
Operating Counterbalance and/or Reach Forklift Trucks safely and efficiently
Loading and unloading vehicles
Transporting raw materials and finished products between warehouse and production areas
Storing stock accurately within designated warehouse locations
Supporting goods-in and goods-out operations
Assisting with stock control and inventory checks
Carrying out daily FLT safety checks
Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
Supporting production teams when required to meet customer deadlines
What We’re Looking For
Valid Counterbalance and/or Reach Truck licence
Previous experience operating FLTs within a warehouse or manufacturing environment
Good understanding of health & safety procedures
Reliable, hardworking, and punctual
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Manufacturing or furniture industry experience is advantageous but not essential
