Nuclear Medicine Technologist Band 6 Pay: £22.00-£31.00 per hour

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our medical imaging team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using nuclear medicine techniques, ensuring high-quality patient care and accurate results. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment, utilising advanced imaging technology such as MRI and CT scans. The ideal applicant will possess strong communication skills, a solid understanding of IT systems related to medical imaging, and a compassionate approach to patient care.

DCR or BSc in Radiography· Postgraduate qualification in Nuclear Medicine· To have a minimum of two years post-qualification experience in Nuclear Medicine

Broad knowledge of routine and complex Nuclear Medicine Imaging techniques· To provide evidence of professional development· To have a good knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation, national standards, professional and other guidelines associated with Nuclear Medicine relating to Radiation Protection and Health & Safety· To have working experience with Information Systems, Nuclear Medicine processing software and PACS

To be articulate, diplomatic, flexible and calm· To display enthusiasm for the post promotion of Nuclear Medicine and professional standards· PET/CT experience desired· Experience with Siemens imaging equipment and MIM processing software
