We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Manager to lead an Ofsted-registered children’s home supporting young people with Learning Disabilities. As Registered Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and child-centred environment where young people can achieve positive outcomes and reach their full potential.
Lead the overall management and operation of the children’s home Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and Children’s Homes Regulations Inspire, develop, and support a high-performing residential care team Champion safeguarding, positive behaviour support, and person-centred care Manage staffing, budgets, rotas, and occupancy effectively Build strong relationships with local authorities, families, and external professionals Maintain high standards of record-keeping, care planning, and risk management
Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager within a children’s residential setting Strong knowledge of Ofsted standards, safeguarding, and regulatory requirements Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards) Experience supporting children and young people with Learning Disabilities A genuine passion for improving outcomes for children and young people Full UK driving licence preferred
