The Role
We are accepting applications for Online Tutors with a specialist background in Financial Management to support the online BSc Professional Accountancy programme.
Responsibilities include proactive support to students via the Virtual Learning Environment, marking summative assessments and providing detailed feedback. Tutors will be supported by a Module Leader and Programme Director and will work closely with the Programme Manager.
Module specification: The Financial Management module gives students advanced knowledge of financial management issues within modern corporations and enables them to justify and make efficient decisions on financing, investments, valuation, and risk.
Location: Remote
Employment Type: Self‑employed contractor
Salary: £2,810.16 flat fee per study session; summative assessment marking is paid separately at £13.40 per exam script marked.
Candidate Profile
Motivated individual who enjoys working with students and is driven to support their success.
Experience working in a higher education institution and an accounting or related qualification at postgraduate level.
Note: No visa sponsorship for this role; applications from individuals currently on a student visa will not be considered.
