An exciting opportunity has arisen in North Cumbria Children’s Community Eating Disorder Service (CEDS) for a Band 7 Team Lead.

We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic candidate who will be responsible for the clinical leadership of the team within the culture of continuous service improvement to ensure delivery of an excellent service to our service users. They will be responsible and accountable for the monitoring of performance and quality of the service.

The post holder will be part of the Children and Young People’s Leadership Team in North Cumbria and will be supported directly by the Clinical Manager, CAMHS Manager and Consultant Psychiatrist.

Main duties of the job

The clinical lead role in this service will have clinical oversight of the service ensuring a high quality of care is delivered to children and young people which is evidence based.

The clinical lead will work collaboratively with other children’s mental health services, acute hospital, education and partner agencies to ensure co-ordinated care.

The clinical lead will offer clinical leadership in the team, supporting with the weekly MDT meeting, complex cases reviews whilst carrying a small caseload within the service.

The clinical lead will support data performance in the service to demonstrate the effectiveness and efficiency of the service.
