The role
You will advise on a diverse range of commercial property matters for SMEs, founder‑led businesses and high‑growth companies across a range of sectors.
Key responsibilities
Advising landlords, tenants and business occupiers on a wide range of leasehold matters, including the negotiation of new leases, renewals, licences, assignments and related property agreements.
Acting on the acquisition and disposal of commercial property assets, managing transactions from initial instruction through to completion.
Supporting corporate transactions by advising on the real estate aspects of acquisitions, disposals, investments and group restructurings.
Providing practical and commercially focused advice on day‑to‑day property management issues, including lease interpretation, service charge disputes, dilapidations and occupational matters.
Taking ownership of transactions, coordinating with clients, agents, lenders and other professional advisers to ensure matters progress efficiently and smoothly.
Developing strong client relationships and becoming a trusted adviser to businesses as they grow and evolve.
Working collaboratively with colleagues across Corporate, Commercial, Employment, Intellectual Property and Data Protection teams to deliver seamless, joined‑up advice.
Contributing to business development initiatives and helping to raise the firm’s profile through networking, client events, marketing activity and relationship‑building opportunities.
About you
5+ years’ PQE with strong commercial property experience.
Comfortable managing your own caseload and client relationships with an appropriate degree of autonomy.
Commercially minded with a pragmatic approach to problem‑solving and client service.
An interest in business development and contributing to the continued growth of the practice.
