About the Role

Our client is looking to appoint an additional broker consultant to work within the East Manchester, West Yorkshire area.

Location & Working Conditions

This is an employed role based working from home with a mix of client visits, virtual meetings and telephone work.

Responsibilities

  • Work with a panel of existing intermediaries to maximise the business potential from them and introduce new brokers to the panel.
  • Act as a strong group presenter, comfortable dealing with people at all levels.
  • Overcome objections, build relationships and deliver strong technical knowledge, providing exceptional service and adding value to intermediary businesses.
  • Proactively plan to maximise panel business and focus on networking for new business opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Background within financial services, either as a broker within the intermediary market or as an advisor who has worked whole of market and is seeking to move into intermediary support field.
  • Strong group presentation skills and technical knowledge.
  • Ability to overcome objections and build relationships.

Compensation & Benefits

In addition to a basic salary, there is a bonus element to the role with an expectation to earn around £45‑50,000 in the first year. Established broker consultants are earning in excess of £60,000, with top performers earning significantly more.
