I’m supporting a global consumer products organisation in the search for an experienced Project Manager to lead strategic innovation programmes across multiple international markets.
This is a highly visible role sitting within a Portfolio & PMO function, responsible for driving cross‑functional alignment from concept through to launch. The successful candidate will act as the central orchestrator across Innovation, R&D, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Marketing and Commercial teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead complex Stage Gate projects from concept through commercial launch.
- Drive portfolio priorities, business case development and strategic decision‑making.
- Facilitate executive‑level governance and portfolio reviews.
- Identify risks, resource constraints and critical path dependencies early.
- Influence senior stakeholders across multiple functions and geographies.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and aligned to strategic objectives.
- Support category and portfolio leadership with data‑driven recommendations and scenario analyses.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience within blue‑chip FMCG, Consumer Health, Personal Care, Nutrition or related sectors.
- Demonstrated ownership of end‑to‑end innovation and new product development programmes.
- Exposure to European and/or global markets.
- Advanced project and programme management expertise (PMI, Prince2 or equivalent).
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to challenge and influence senior stakeholders.
- Experience operating within complex matrix organisations.
