Due to continued growth and expansion, JJX Logistics is looking for an experienced Senior Manager – Air, Sea & Road Freight to lead the development and growth of our freight forwarding division. This is more than just a management role—it’s a unique opportunity to help establish and shape a department from the ground up. Working alongside our senior leadership team, you’ll play a key role in developing our Air, Sea & Road Freight offering, building customer relationships, creating operational processes, and helping drive the future success of this growing part of the business.
We’re looking for a driven, commercially minded individual with strong Air & Sea Freight experience, a passion for developing new opportunities, and the leadership skills to build and inspire a successful team. Knowledge of customs and road freight would be highly desirable.

The Role
As Senior Manager, you’ll be responsible for leading the development of our Air, Sea & Road Freight division. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you’ll help establish operational processes, develop the department, grow our customer base and recruit and develop the team as the division expands.
Working closely with senior leadership, you’ll play a key role in delivering our long‑term growth strategy while ensuring the highest levels of customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and growth of our Air, Sea & Road Freight division.
- Help establish operational processes, procedures and best practices as the department continues to grow.
- Build, mentor and develop a high‑performing freight forwarding team.
- Develop strong relationships with new and existing customers, overseas agents and suppliers.
- Support business development by identifying new commercial opportunities and helping grow the division.
- Oversee day‑to‑day air, sea and road freight operations as the department develops.
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations, import/export procedures and industry legislation.
- Monitor performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Work closely with senior management to help shape the future direction of the freight forwarding division.
About You
- Proven experience within Air & Sea Freight forwarding.
- Previous management or senior supervisory experience.
- A commercial mindset with experience of developing customer relationships and growing business.
- Strong operational knowledge of international freight forwarding.
- Customs knowledge and road freight experience would be highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- A proactive, entrepreneurial approach and the confidence to build and develop a department.
