Quality Engineer in Cwmbran

As Quality Engineer, you will support product lifecycle quality assurance across the manufacturing process, ensuring compliance with company objectives and customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute toward interface/interaction with customers and cross‑functional teams for Product Release (EASA and CAA Form 1) Signatory.
• Collaborate with the Operational Manager and quality teams to define quality objectives aligned with company goals.
• Measure quality of products and services against specified objectives and drive continuous improvement.
• Implement and monitor action plans, measuring their effectiveness.
• Conduct audits and OJT in line with regulations, company procedures, and customer requirements.
• Support and maintain the implementation of validation processes.
• Carry out QRQC (8D) activities to ensure timely operational throughput.

What You’ll Bring

• Minimum of HNC/HND or equivalent in an engineering discipline.
• Strong understanding of QA tools such as APQP, PPAP, control plans, and FMEA.
• Experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment (aerospace, defence, automotive).
• Experience working with internal design teams.
• Deep knowledge of regulatory, international, and quality management standards.
• Strong interpersonal skills to manage relationships with international suppliers and senior management.
• Ability to challenge individuals at all levels to ensure compliance with business processes and standards.
