HLOP & Reach Truck Driver – Erdington, Birmingham
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HLOP & Reach Truck Driver to join our well-established client based in Erdington, Birmingham on a full-time temporary to permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity offering £12.91 per hour, ongoing work, weekly pay, and genuine opportunities for long-term progression within a busy logistics operation.
This role would suit candidates with experience as a HLOP Driver, High Level Order Picker, Reach Truck Driver, Warehouse Operative, FLT Driver, Quality Control Operative, or RDT Scanner Operator.
Shifts
• Monday to Friday • 07:00 – 16:00
Rates of Pay
• £12.91 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties
As a HLOP & Reach Truck Driver, your duties will include:
• Completing quality checks across all aspects of the contract • Checking incoming stock for accuracy and damage • Carrying out quality inspections and producing reports • Labelling products and preparing stock for dispatch • Using RDT scanners accurately and efficiently • Reporting any damaged stock to the supervisor • Packing products ready for dispatch • Interacting with customers within the warehouse environment • Operating a High Level Order Picker (HLOP) safely and efficiently • Operating a Reach Truck safely and efficiently • Following all health and safety procedures
Essential Skills
To be successful in this role, you will need:
• A good standard of English, both written and spoken • Previous warehouse experience • A valid Reach Truck licence with 1–2 years’ operating experience • Experience using RDT scanners confidently • The ability to work independently and as part of a team • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy • A reliable, hardworking, and professional approach • The ability to follow instructions and work safely • Comfortable working at height
Desirable Experience
• Previous High Level Order Picker (HLOP) experience • Experience within a fast-paced logistics or distribution environment • Quality control or stock checking experience
Training Provided
• Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment
