About you

  • Minimum 3 years of cost accounting experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred
  • Strong proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organisational abilities
  • Sound understanding of accounting principles and cost systems
  • Ability to communicate complex data clearly and professionally
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including production and engineering

What you’ll do

  • Oversee costing data across multiple European sites to provide accurate insights on product costs and variances
  • Develop standardised methodologies for calculating and maintaining product costs, supporting new product development
  • Conduct routine variance analysis and support remediation actions to optimise costs
  • Lead annual standard cost setting, including materials, labour, and overhead rates
  • Act as a super user of SAP costing modules and train site personnel on system processes
  • Support margin analysis and collaborate with supply chain and pricing teams to inform strategic decisions
  • Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities, providing analytical insights to the leadership team
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to cost-saving projects across the group
