Stock Controller

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Stock Controller to join our growing team at Strickland MFG Ireland. This is a new key role responsible for managing inventory levels, ensuring accuracy in stock records, and supporting efficient production operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage stock levels to meet production demands
• Maintain accurate inventory records using internal systems
• Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies
• Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and production teams
• Track incoming and outgoing materials and components
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and health & safety standards
• Identify opportunities to improve stock control processes and reduce waste

Requirements:

• Previous experience in stock control, inventory management, or warehouse operations (preferably within manufacturing/engineering)
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

Desirable:

• Experience with Progress Plus.
• Knowledge of engineering materials and components
