About East Village
East Village, in Stratford, London E20, comprises 63 higher‑risk buildings (HRBs) across 11 plots, constructed between 2008 and 2013 for the London 2012 Olympics, with two further plots (N06 and N08) added more recently. Surveys have identified external cladding and balcony defects, and further internal investigations have led to details of concern being identified within internal compartmentation across the buildings.
About the role
This is a key construction project management role within Get Living, primarily involved in the internal and external fire / compartmentation remediation of the East Village buildings.
Key Accountabilities
- Working with internal stakeholders to procure new surveys, inspections, and small scope internal remediation and fitout works from third‑party providers
- Monitoring, co‑ordinating and contributing to the design and construction of remediation works being delivered by third‑party providers
- Providing ad‑hoc construction, procurement and development expertise and advice to colleagues across the business
- Managing the inception, design, procurement and delivery of fit‑out, public realm and small works projects elsewhere within Get Living’s existing portfolio
Who we are looking for
- A professional with minimum five years PQE project management skills to represent both Get Living and our stakeholders

The successful candidate will have
- An ability to collaborate or lead as needed
- An ability to manage multiple projects and project streams at the same time
- Commercial acumen and financial management / budget management capability
- Willingness to learn and grow skills
- Understanding of procurement processes and contractual obligations
- Ability to influence and gain support from stakeholders
Note: Knowledge of fire remediation works would be an advantage but not a requirement for the role
