You’ll be more than a Deputy Head Teacher– you’ll be a compassionate, creative and inspiring leader who iscommitted to achieving the very best outcomes for every pupil. Tobe successful in this role, you’ll have:
–Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and previous teachingexperience.
– Significant experience working withchildren and young people with Special Educational Needs andDisabilities (SEND).
– Ideally, experienceworking across both primary and secondary phases within awhole-school setting.
– A minimum of two years’leadership and management experience.
– A strongfocus on achieving positive outcomes for young people, recognisingsuccess goes far beyond academic achievement.
– Acreative and flexible approach to teaching, learning and schoolleadership, with the ability to adapt to meet individualneeds.
– A passion for raising the quality ofteaching and learning across the school.
– Aclear understanding of what effective behaviours for learning looklike and how to embed them.
