Morson are recruiting for Material Support Specialists to join a leading aerospace and defence programme based at RAF Brize Norton.

This is an operational, fast-paced role within the Demand Cell team where you will be responsible for managing material demands, shortages, and supply chain performance to support aircraft maintenance and flying operations.

You will work closely with engineering, MRO and customer teams, ensuring materials are available when required and escalating any risks that could impact delivery or aircraft availability.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee material demands in support of aircraft maintenance and operational requirementsEscalate material shortages, late deliveries, and risks impacting availabilitySupport Aircraft on Ground (AOG) situations and recovery activitiesChase and track parts, ensuring delivery schedules are met and issues are resolvedLiaise with internal stakeholders and the end customer regarding material procurementIdentify and escalate risks where delivery deadlines are not metAttend daily operational and planning meetingsSupport reporting activities and continuous improvement across the supply chain

Requirements

Experience in a material support, supply chain, logistics, or procurement roleStrong SAP experience (essential)Experience managing material flow, shortages, or demand planningComfortable working in a fast-paced, operational environmentStrong stakeholder management and communication skillsAbility to identify issues and escalate where required

Desirable

Background in aerospace, aviation, or defenceExperience supporting AOG environmentsKnowledge of EASA Part 145

This position sits within a demand-focused supply chain team supporting a major aircraft programme. The environment is highly operational, requiring strong coordination, attention to detail, and the ability to react quickly to changing priorities.
