Nursery Deputy Manager – Head Start Day Nursery -nCrews Hill

Salary – £36,000 depending on experience

40 hours per week

Level 3 Childcare Qualification is essential

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuren the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff, parent, and visitor at alln times.
  • Understandn and ensure that the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFSn are met throughout the nursery.
  • Assistn in managing the acceptance and administration of medication and ensuren care plans are thorough and up to date for children or staff with healthn conditions.
  • Ensuren that all children receive stimulating and purposeful experiences,n environments and resources that are appropriate to their age and stage ofn development.
  • Promoten respect and credibility for this position through effective communicationn skills, impartiality, and consistency.
  • Inspiren staff team with creative ideas and new challenges with aim to achieven outstanding practice.
  • Maintainn accurate records and accounts relating to children and staff on EyMann system and on file.
  • Undertaken any other duties to ensure the smooth running of the nursery and safetyn and wellbeing of children, staff, and families.

Requirements:

  • Fulln and relevant Level 3 in Childcare qualification – Essential
  • Leadershipn experience – Essential
  • Overn 1 years’ experience of working in Early Years – Essential
  • Soundn knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatoryn requirements – Essential
  • Overn 1 years’ experience of working in a management position – Desirable.
  • Leveln 5 qualification in Childcare and/or Management and Leadership – Desirable
  • Experiencen of successfully passing an Ofsted inspection to good or outstanding –n Desirable
