ROLE SUMMARY
The Business Development Director is a senior commercial role within the Revenue Tribe, reporting into the Head of Business Development.
This is a 360-degree Business Development role focused on identifying, engaging, and closing the next generation of ICP accounts across brands, agencies, media companies, and creator-led businesses globally.
You will own strategic new business opportunities from prospecting through to onboarding, building long-term commercial value before transitioning healthy client relationships into Client Strategy for ongoing partnership management.
This role requires someone who combines commercial excellence with genuine cultural fluency. We are looking for someone who understands modern brand building instinctively – someone who is plugged into culture, creators, influence, community, and identity-driven consumer behaviour, not observing it from the outside.
A strong appreciation for measurement, insights, and evidence-led marketing is important for success in this role. While deep technical expertise is not required from day one, the successful candidate will be expected to quickly develop a strong understanding of ThisThat’s methodologies, products, and the strategic value our insight outputs create for clients.
You will play a key role in helping shape the future of the Business Development function at ThisThat, contributing to both commercial growth and the evolution of how modern relationship-led sales operates within the company.
This is not a traditional sales role. It is an opportunity to become a trusted commercial voice within the modern marketing ecosystem.
