Role Summary

The Group Financial Accountant will support the Group Reporting Manager and Group Financial Controller in delivering timely, accurate and high-quality financial reporting across the Group.

• Assist with monthly consolidations, statutory reporting, audit management and continual enhancement of financial controls and reporting processes within a fast-paced SaaS business.
• Support the preparation of monthly Group consolidations under IFRS, including multi-currency reporting and intercompany reconciliations.
• Assist with the monthly close process and preparation of management and investor reporting.
• Support accounting and reporting for Group holding companies, including bank and covenant reporting.
• Assist with the preparation of annual statutory accounts under IFRS and UK GAAP.
• Support the external audit process and assist with tax and VAT reporting requirements.
• Assist regional finance teams with reporting submissions and technical queries.
• Support the development and improvement of Group finance controls, policies and reporting processes.
• Assist with acquisition accounting, integration activities and chart of accounts management following acquisitions.
• Provide ad hoc reporting, analysis and project support to the Group Reporting Manager and Group Financial Controller.

Candidate Requirements

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA) with a practice‑trained background.
• Recent experience within an external audit role, ideally with a Top 20 accounting firm.
• Strong understanding of IFRS and UK GAAP, with exposure to group reporting and consolidations.
• Experience auditing multi‑entity groups and reviewing consolidated financial statements.
• Strong Excel skills and confident working with financial data.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work across international finance teams.
• Proactive and adaptable, with a willingness to support a fast‑paced and growing business.
• NetSuite experience advantageous but not essential.
