Baby Room Leader

Overview

As a Room Leader you will lead, mentor, support and inspire a team to deliver exceptional care and education, helping all children in the room to develop and meet their individual milestones.

Your role is based at our Bristol nursery located beneath the iconic Clifton Suspension Bridge, with access to an outdoor area, garden and indoor play spaces.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, support and inspire a team to deliver exceptional care and education.
• Help children develop and meet their individual milestones.
• Promote and ensure child welfare, health, safety and safeguarding.
• Maintain strong partnerships with colleagues, parents, carers and other professionals.
• Use a variety of communication techniques with children and adults.

Qualifications and Experience

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
• Previous experience working in an Early Years setting – ideally as a Room Leader, Nursery Nurse, Nursery Practitioner or Early Years Educator.
• Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments.
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Strong knowledge of Safeguarding, Child Protection and legislative requirements for working with children.
• Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with colleagues and parents/carers.
