Prospero Teaching are actively working with a specialist SEND independent school in Greenwich, with Nursery, Senior School and Sixth Form departments. They are looking for an Assistant Headteacher to join their full‑time team starting in September.

CONTRACT / POSITION DETAILS

• Location – Greenwich, SE12
• Position – Assistant Headteacher
• Type of work – Assistant Headteacher
• Contract or position start date – September
• Full time/part time – Full time
• Minimum rate of pay – 50,000 Per annum
• Hours – 8:30 am – 4 pm, Mon–Fri (term time only)

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• QTS or equivalent
• Good honours degree
• Significant experience of working with pupils with SEND
• Minimum 1 year EYFS/KS1/KS2 teaching experience in the UK
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years
