Job Overview
Salary: £35,000. Mitie Intelligence Services (MIS) is seeking an Intelligence Hub Analyst to deliver a portfolio of intelligence services for a key contract with the UK Government.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with senior client, account manager, Intelligence Hub, and other internal and external stakeholders to create and deliver a range of intelligence products and service lines relevant to customer security concerns.
- Create high‑quality, relevant and concise intelligence reports and briefings covering threats to physical security such as terrorism, crime and activism, including thematic intelligence reports focused on threats to people, assets and events.
- Deliver intelligence briefings for senior Mitie and customer representatives in both strategic context and live incidents.
- Act as a mentor and coach to junior employees, providing guidance and support.
- Attend customer meetings as required to brief the strategic intelligence picture and build relationships with stakeholders at various levels of seniority.
Key Skills and Experience
- Degree‑educated, or an equivalent qualification, in a relevant subject area.
- Experience working within a threat intelligence environment (military, government, law enforcement or security sectors).
- Strong ability to build relationships with customers and partners.
- Skill in formulating logical and measured assessments of risk/threat based on available information, while understanding customer intelligence requirements.
- Experience processing and analysing both qualitative and quantitative data.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a high level of attention to detail; fluent in spoken and written English.
- Reliability, flexibility, and discretion with high personal integrity.
- Knowledge of global events and their security impacts; strong knowledge of the UK political and security landscape.
- Experience interrogating and exploiting social media platforms as a source of threat intelligence.
- Eligibility and willingness to undergo additional vetting (up to SC).
Desirable Skills and Experience
- At least two years of previous experience in a threat intelligence environment.
- Demonstrable knowledge of global events and their security impacts.
- A ‘can do’ attitude with a desire to problem‑solve and deliver exceptional service.
- Innovative approach, seeking new and unique solutions to meet customer needs.
- Master’s degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant subject area.
