Impact Manager (x2)

Impact Manager x2 (Fixed-term, 12 months, Full-time) – Closing date: 7 July 2026

These roles will be based centrally, working across Faculties

• One post supporting Medicine, Health and Life Sciences (Panel A)
• One post supporting Social Sciences (Panel C)

This role will involve:

• Providing hands‑on support to academics developing ICT (particularly around evidencing and evaluation)
• Supporting review exercises and REF processes
• Helping ensure a coordinated and consistent institutional approach to impact development

You’ll be joining a supportive, friendly team at a really important time as we prepare for the next REF.

It’s a great fit for someone who:

• Enjoys working collaboratively with researchers and professional services teams
• Has experience of impact, REF, evaluation, or research strategy (although commitment and capability are more important than prior REF experience)
• Can balance big‑picture thinking with practical delivery
• Likes bringing clarity to complex information and telling compelling stories.
