Impact Manager x2 (Fixed-term, 12 months, Full-time) – Closing date: 7 July 2026
These roles will be based centrally, working across Faculties
- One post supporting Medicine, Health and Life Sciences (Panel A)
- One post supporting Social Sciences (Panel C)
This role will involve:
- Providing hands‑on support to academics developing ICT (particularly around evidencing and evaluation)
- Supporting review exercises and REF processes
- Helping ensure a coordinated and consistent institutional approach to impact development
You’ll be joining a supportive, friendly team at a really important time as we prepare for the next REF.
It’s a great fit for someone who:
- Enjoys working collaboratively with researchers and professional services teams
- Has experience of impact, REF, evaluation, or research strategy (although commitment and capability are more important than prior REF experience)
- Can balance big‑picture thinking with practical delivery
- Likes bringing clarity to complex information and telling compelling stories.
