We are Forestry England. We live and breathe forests. Salary: £33,854 per annum. Contract: Fixed Term until March 2029, possibility of extension. Hours: 37 per week. Vacancy closes 19th July 2026.

What you’ll do

  • Based in Forestry England’s North District (Northumberland, Cumbria, County Durham, North Lancashire).
  • Oversee the development and delivery of North District’s Nature Networks project.
  • Manage the project through concept and definition stages and facilitate implementation on the ground.
  • Bring the concept of nature networks to life, delivering at scale and pace to meet Forestry England’s ambitions for nature recovery.

Where you’ll work

The postholder will be part of Forestry England North District based out of Grizedale or Bellingham offices.
