Role Summary

This post is full time and permanent, working 35 hours per week. We are looking for an experienced Senior Systems Analyst to join our Enterprise Systems Development (ESD) team within Digital Technology Services (DTS) at the University of Westminster. This is a key role at the heart of the University’s digital transformation agenda. You will take product ownership for a range of enterprise systems, leading their design, development, integration and continuous improvement to enhance the experience of both students and staff, and to improve operational efficiency across the University.

Responsibilities

  • Lead design, development, integration and continuous improvement of enterprise systems to enhance student and staff experience and improve operational efficiency.
  • Work closely with colleagues across DTS, including Business Systems Development, ICT Operations, Service Management and Business Relationship Management, ensuring services are secure, resilient, well‑integrated and user‑centred.
  • Play a significant role in building a successful team to deliver the strategic roadmap for enterprise systems in support of the university’s digital transformation agenda.
  • Engage, challenge and deliver to meet the requirements of long‑ and short‑term plans.
  • Collaborate with ICT Operations to maintain and manage the University’s ICT infrastructure, systems and applications for agreed service levels.
  • Represent and promote the University internally and externally with peers at other HE/FE institutions and in community initiatives.
  • Implement and maintain systems across in‑house, externally hosted and cloud‑based solutions, ensuring resilience and business continuity across the two university data centres.

Working Conditions

The role supports hybrid working, with a blend of on‑campus and remote working. Times when on‑site presence is required will depend on critical systems, stakeholder engagement and project delivery. Working arrangements will be agreed in line with the University’s smart working framework and the needs of the service.

Salary

£54,300 – £58,779 per annum (Incl. LWA)
