UI Developer

Join us as a UI Developer. In this role you will design, develop and improve software, utilising various engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Develop high‑quality, scalable, and maintainable user interfaces using industry‑aligned programming languages and frameworks.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
• Participate in code reviews and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
• Implement effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.
• Adhere to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.
• Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations, actively contributing to the organization’s technology communities.

Qualifications

• Experience with Modern Frontend Frameworks.
• Experience in Responsive & Accessible Design.
• Experience in Performance Optimization.
• Highly valued skills: Design System Experience; Animation & Micro-interactions Experience; Backend Integration Knowledge.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and a positive attitude towards collaborative work and continuous learning.

Location

This role can be based in Knutsford or Manchester.
