Founding AI Engineer – Applied AI / Computer Vision – London / Hybrid
We’re looking for a Founding AI Engineer to join an exciting early‑stage Computer Vision AI company building cutting‑edge agentic workflows and AI‑powered video tools used in large‑scale media environments. With multiple deals signed, now is a terrific time to join! This is a rare opportunity to become the first dedicated AI hire in a fast‑moving revenue‑generating pre‑seed startup already running frontier AI models in production. You’ll work directly with the founders, own AI engineering end‑to‑end, and have a major impact across product quality, infrastructure efficiency and technical direction.
What we’re looking for
- 5+ years’ experience within Applied AI / ML / MLOps
- Strong Python and production AI systems experience
- Experience with LLMs, Generative AI, prompt engineering or agentic workflows
- Exposure to AI infrastructure, deployment, evals or optimisation
- Startup mindset with a hands‑on, product‑focused approach
- Computer vision / video / VFX / rendering experience beneficial
